On 20 Aug 2026, thunderstorms produced hail up to 2.00 in (hen egg) at Wabasso, MN. 2 hail reports of 1.25 in or larger were logged near Wabasso centroid, at 7:48 p.m. CDT and 7:50 p.m. CDT. Hail fell on or next to the town street grid (E of the town centroid; NNW of the town centroid). Largest: 2.00 in at Wabasso (7:48 p.m. CDT); 1.75 in at 1 ESE Wabasso (7:50 p.m. CDT). This meets HailDataHub in-town qualify (2+ stones ≥1.25 in near the place centroid), not a rural offset or a single-report pin. Storm motion from the timed reports was toward the ESE. Chasers and PDR/roof crews tracking the swath would treat Wabasso as an in-town hit. Population is 603. Not a damage certificate. Not insurance.
